The Osprey Atmos AG 65 is built around the AntiGravity tensioned mesh suspension — a full-perimeter frame that holds the pack body away from your back and circulates air on hot desert sections where a foam-contact backpanel would soak a shirt in the first mile. The AG frame is a die-cut aluminium stay wrapped in continuous tensioned mesh rather than a rigid lumbar shelf, which means the suspension flexes with your stride instead of bracing against it on technical trail. At 2 lb 13 oz for a 65L haul capacity it is the lightest framed-suspension pack in this class, and Osprey's Fit-on-the-Fly hipbelt lets you tune lumbar contact with one hand while moving. The hipbelt pockets are roomy enough for a large phone, the top lid converts to a day pack, and the sleeping bag compartment unzips into the main body when you need it to.
