At 1 lb 3 oz the Plex Solo drops the inner tent entirely — the user pitches it with a half inner or a bivy for bug-heavy stretches, and rides a bare-pitch for dry summer sections to save another few ounces. The 0.51 oz/sqyd Dyneema Composite Fabric is fully waterproof, has zero stretch so wind stays put, and packs to a softball. Built for the days when a freestanding double-wall is overbuilt and a tyvek tarp is underbuilt.
